TERMS OF SERVICE
Services Provided
The Anger Managers offer a variety of individual, couples, family, group and corporate anger management and Partner Assault Response (PAR) solutions.
Confidentiality
All services provided by the staff of The Anger Managers are kept confidential, expect as noted below. We consult, as needed, within the staff of The Anger Managers about the best way to provide the assistance that you might need. We keep records of your consulting for seven (7) years if you agree to participate in studies or (5) months if you decline to participate in the studies. These records are stored in a secure storage facility and are shredded when they are disposed of.
The Anger Managers staff have the legal responsibility to disclose client information without prior consent when: a client is likely to harm themselves or others, unless protective measures are taken; when there is reasonable suspicion of abuse of children, dependent adults, or the elderly; when there is a valid court order for the disclosure of client files. Fortunately, these circumstances are not common. By signing this form you also give The Anger Managers permission to communicate with the Emergency Contact that you have listed if we believe that you are at risk. Please consult with your anger management specialist if you have any questions regarding the confidentiality policies.

Class Candidates
We do our best to make sure that the course is appropriate for each of our client’s needs. If you enroll in this course for court reasons and the courts require you to enroll in a different class, all monies paid will not be refunded. Please ensure that you require an anger management program. If you are unsure please consult the courts, your legal representative or your anger management specialist.
If you are enrolling in our private PAR program we highly suggest that you ask for a letter of intent to present to the courts. This letter asks that courts to pre-approve the course for your situation. This way you will know before hand that the course will be approved for your case.
Deposits and Payments
All fees for services are paid upfront, upon booking the services. This will ensure your space is reserved within our schedule.
Cancellations or Abandoned Deposits
You can make a cancellation at any time. Please keep in mind that all payments are non-refundable. You are able to switch to another class location or time with ten business days’ notice. In this instance your deposit would be transferred to the new service, as it is available.
Scheduled Appointments
If you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment for individual services with us then 24-hours notice is required. If proper notice is not given then a $45.00 fee will be billed.
If you are unable to attend the scheduled time for your group class, please let your anger management specialist know as soon as possible. There is an allowance of one (1) absence from the course, per term. If you miss more than one class then you can pay for an individual session with an anger management specialist. If you do not do this then a certificate of completion will not be awarded.
Certifications and Letters of enrollment/completion
Every successful participant of the program will receive either a certificate or a letter of completion, when paying for a complete program. If a letter of enrollment or any addition letters, certificates, or reports are required then these will be charged at an extra cost.
If the participant pays for the program on an hourly basis then they will be responsible for the additional charges associated with any reports, certificates or letters that they may require.
Taxes
All services are subject to a 13% HST fee.
Cancellation of Class
Please note that The Anger Managers reserve all rights to change course dates due to low registration. If your class is cancelled then you will receive a call or e-mail from our office with a new date. No refunds will be given.
